“Maybe you love me… but you never protected me.”
And that was the end of it.
The ceremony was canceled. The guests began to leave. Some offered their support in silence.
Sofia went upstairs to her room.
There, finally, she broke down.
She cried for the lost love. For the wedding. For the life that would never be.
But above all… she cried because she realized something:

They were still there.

The flowers were still untouched. The tables were set. As if nothing had happened.
But in one corner… the chairs where her parents had sat were still there.
